Sr. Surgical Pathologist and Cytologist
Dr. Richa Garg is a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Pathologist and Cytologist, with over 12 years of experience in the field of diagnostic pathology. She completed her post-graduation in Pathology (D.C.P) from the esteemed J.J.M. Medical College, Davangere, and has since established herself as a trusted name in the field.
Currently serving as the Head of Pathology at Shanti Madan Hospital and the Director of S.M. Path Lab & Hormone Centre, Dr. Garg is known for her unwavering commitment to quality, precision, and patient-centric care. Her core areas of expertise include Histopathology, Cytology, and Pap Smear reporting, with a strong emphasis on surgical pathology.
Under her leadership, the lab is equipped with state-of-the-art and fully automated equipment for Hematology, Biochemistry, Hormone Assays, and Liquid-Based Cytology (LBC) for enhanced Pap smear accuracy.
Microbiology cultures and advanced diagnostic testing are also routinely performed, ensuring comprehensive lab services under one roof. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Richa Garg also holds the role of Quality Head at SM Path Labs. She consistently oversees internal and external quality assurance protocols in collaboration with leading institutes such as AIIMS and CMC Vellore, helping maintain the highest standards of diagnostic accuracy.
